I love how Wayne Dyer defines intention as the impulsion of creation, the source of life itself. In his book, The Power of Intention, he shows us how we can get into alignment with this creative energy, to experience a life of our dreams. He looks at the obstacles that get in the way and talks about how we can shift them to bring ourselves back into connection with the Divine. Dyer devotes a whole chapter to self-worth, which I think is really important in our spiritual work. He then covers specific areas of life, such as abundance, relationship and authenticity. I was pleasantly surprised reading this book, finding it useful to my practice. I even found the new edition, with all its vivid colors and drawings, easy to read, you might say brightening up the text.
