Jack Kornfield has done it again. In his new book, A Lamp in the Darkness, Kornfield presents, with his usual clarity, a gentle approach to being with challenges and painful feelings. His personal approach makes it easy to read and understand and his teaching and practices are appropriate for all people. Each chapter includes a simple meditation, with a recording of these included with the book. As someone who has studied and practiced meditation for years, I always find Kornfield's writing refreshing. This is where spiritual practice really impacts our lives.
